Financial Controller, Vantaa or Tampere area

Rototec is the leading geoenergy company in Europe. We deliver over 6000 energy wells a year for heating and cooling of homes and offices and public buildings. We work with the latest technology and modern processes. Rototec operates in Finland, Sweden and Norway. The group turnover is about 60 m € and we employ about 100 experts in the Nordics. One of the most important factors for us at Rototec is sustainable use of natural resources. Geoenergy is a cost-effective and climate friendly natural energy right under our feet to heat and cool properties of different sizes. With today’s climate targets geoenergy is a growing field of the future.

We are looking for a Financial Controller

You will report to the Group CFO and work in the Group finance team. You will be responsible for accurate and timely group consolidation, monthly reporting, planning and analyses. You will also assist in tax issues. You are a key resource in Finance ERP implementation and you also support in M&A operations.

You have a Master’s degree in Accounting or Financial Management or other relevant degree with senior level experience. You have 5 years of experience in a specialist position and 2 – 3 years of experience in group consolidation preferably in international business. You can consolidate group financial statements independently and enjoy performing occasional group restructures from accounting perspective. You can keep the tight timelines of the financial reporting and other business requirements. You have experience or interest in process development and system implementation. As a financial controller you will be a key player in the coming finance ERP implementation.

We are looking for a development oriented, analytical and systematic person with can-do attitude, who enjoys working with Excel, numbers, and data. You are fluent in both written and spoken Finnish and English. Knowledge of Swedish is an advantage.
